The inspiration for TheLatinaVoz.com was born out of the desire to promote awareness on the various issues facing Latinas, our families and our communities. We have so much to be proud of – our contributions to the American experience have been significant, but there is still much work to do to improve the quality of our lives, and our communities.

As women, we face competing personal, professional and social forces that too often leave us feeling as if we’ve made tradeoffs rather than choices. We hope the stories, information and resources presented on our website will provide solutions you can apply to your real-life situations, affirm your own experiences, and help you discover new ways to push back.
